Kedlestone hall is built by a classical Palladian Mansion built by Robert Adam. It is filled with furniture and artifacts collected by Lord Curzon, who was the viceroy of India. The staterooms in the hall are of a grand scale and have good collections of paintings and original furniture. There are landscaped gardens that are fashionable of the period. With a summer house and an orangery, there are numerous sculptures and architectural features. The gardens allow the unobstructed view of the parkland and grazing areas beyond the hall.

A sunken rose bed and a finely stocked shrub and flower beds gives a charming and relaxed area. The park was designed by Robert Adam who created five lakes as well as various smaller buildings and walkways covering about 820 acres. The park entrance leads to the Adam Bridge and the lakes are the home of various wild birds. Kedleston Hall is near to the village of Kedleston with roads and can be reached by bus.
